Durante mi vida academica siempre he tomado/me he inscrito/he seguido cursos en marketing...

Can this be written like this:?

During my academic life I have always taken courses/classes? on the domain of marketing

Yes. English is all over the place in the Spanish-speaking world. What's interesting is that it's not standard. Just have a look at a Mexican newspaper.
