Hola "Tener tablas" significa, tener mucha experiencia. Existe en inglés una expresión similar o simplemente " To have a lot of experience" Gracias de antemano.

I would say 'to be an old hand' or 'to be very accomplished' or 'to have a lot of presence' are good equivalents.

Robin Williams is a very accomplished actor.
He has a lot of presence (he has a lot of poise, articulates with ease, and is self-assured).
He's an old hand when it comes to improvisation.

What do Tablas mean in this context? I cannot see any connection with experience

@Brute: it comes from the theater. When you have been on many stages (for a long time made of "tablas") you've been accumulating experience.
