We're not a translation site, but words like Yay! are interjections that can vary from country to country, and may not be equally understood by all people in the same country.
I suggest you not try to include the English word 'dude' when you're cheering someone on, as its equivalent in Spanish would often depend on the gender of the individual. Safe words to use are: ¡Bien! ¡Bueno! ¡Buenísimo! ¡Órale! (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico) ¡Epa! (El Salvador, Mexico) ¡Guau! Note that an accent mark is important to include, should you choose an interjection that contains one. |
