El diccionario de mio me dice,

Wipeout = arrasar o exterminarse (con los animales o especies)

¿Qué es el contexto? Porque wipeout tiene más que un significado
Espero que te ayude

wipeout = un choque (slang for crash/collision)

Wipeout is a noun.

The verb is two words - wipe out. This means erradicar/aniquilar/exterminar/cancelar/acabar con/limpiar algo con un trapo/borrar/matar a alguien.

wipeout

'wipeout', spelled as one word, is also descriptive of a surfer overcome
by a wave.

(or a skier who falls while descending a ski slope)

hermit

This problem is about to I'm configuring a Black berry but I ca't do it, because the Outlook Server does not let me active the e-mail address of the User ID, therefore, I send a e-mail to the Helpdesk's people asking them help in this issues, but they sent me newly a key that I have to set in the configuration of the Black Berry with the address e-mail of the user and so I can have successful in the configuration.

Well I attach the e-mail sent by Helpdesk.

They used the wrong word. They might have meant 'wipe out the memory of the device', which means to 'borrar la memoria' (erase memory). This is done by turning off the device and turning it back on, unless its memory is dynamic. In that case, there would be a 'reset memory' switch of some sort that allows you to reset (wipe out/erase) the memory.

Does that make better sense?
