En lugar de "asunto movido" podría usar "hecho un lío" ? o pueden darme un otro sinónimo más adecuado? No les doy texto porque el sentido está claro.

Asunto movido se refiere a algo que tiene mucha actividad y no necesariamente que sea un lío.

Dependiendo del contexto, un "asunto movido" puede ser "complicado", "interesante", "divertido", "entretenido", "activo" (como dijo Chileno)...
