Unas navidades
Todo pasó unas navidades super frías.
All happened one super cold Christmas. Sometimes I can t say whether Christmas is singular or plural. In Spanish we have navidad as in Feliz Navidad or Navidades as in que pases unas felices navidades. What about in English? I wish u a happy Christmas. Did you enjoy Christmas? Any corrections are most welcome. |

Some Christmases are colder than others. (comparing one against others)
In greetings, Christmas is used in the singular form. Merry Christmas. Have a joyous Christmas (season). When speaking in general: Christmases come and go so fast. Christmas comes and goes so fast. |

In Spanish speaking USA, we say Feliz Navidad or Felices Pascuas.
As Rusty wrote that in English Merry Christmas is mot common, but also Seasons Greetings, which always sounds so ironic to me because it is clearly the darkest coldest nastiest time of year, or Happy Holidays.
