Stationery

What does "stationery" mean in an email? A friend of mine told me that we used the same stationery in an email, but I don't understand it, since I think that stationery means paper and such things one uses to write, but in an email...

Does somebody understand it? She is British (for if it serves as a clue )

Thanks

Because of the fact that you like text instead of gfx, I guess black thread is relatively a young concept in comparison...

It refers to the templates and backgrounds ... you use when writing your mails (to make them more attractive-looking).
Have a look at this: http://ask.reference.com/related/Fre...&l=dir&o=10601
