Future tense

Just practicing typing so that I get practice saying it and writing it down. If I want to tell someone at work, "I'll do it", I would say, "(yo) lo haré".

Second the future of walk. "I will walk to the store" would be, "(yo) caminaré a la tienda"

I'm a little embarrased because I'm a native English speaker and I kid you not, I feel like some of you native Spanish speakers speak better English than I do . Preterite??? Is that just the past tense? I have a window to that website that was suggested (thanks Rusty) for the verb "caminar" in both English and Spanish. It doesn't seem like the total number of conjugations add up for all of the subjunctive, indicative, . . . What am I missing. Thanks for the help!

Both sentences are correct.

There are two past tenses in Spanish: the preterite and the imperfect
In Spanish, these are the pretérito perfecto simple and the pretérito imperfecto.

If you're looking at the 'conjugator.reverso.net' chart, you're not missing anything. All possible conjugations are given.
