Portaloo

Can anybody tell me what a portaloo might be in Spanish? Somebody I know here in Tenerife wants to hire one (no, I don't know why, and I don't want to know why )

A Portaloo is a transportable toilet which can be set up as a temporary structure at things like outdoor concerts, large outdoor fairgrounds, etc. They are usually transported by a lorry.

The word Portalo is something that you can carry in the your hands, it's an object or a file also it could to be a device or for example a Ipod, really I don't know that you are needing with that word.

For it in Spanish is something that you can carry in your own hands.

No I don't think so. It is a Portaloo. I don't think you would want to carry one.

We say portaloo from the English word loo = toilet. The word is supposed to come from French Le 'OO' because the toilet doors had two little holes at eye height to see if it was occupied. Or perhaps that's rubbish.
