Turning Over In His Grave

Turning Over In His Grave

Turning over in his grave es un dicho en inglés que significa una persona
muerta estaría muy desatisfecho si supiera lo que pasó después de su
fallecimiento. Ejemplo: Uncle Bob would be turning over in his grave if he
saw how his nephews squandered the inheritance.
Quisiera saber si hay un dicho igual en español.

Si fulano supiera/viera .... (todo lo que ha pasado) ... se volvería a morir.

Si el tío Bob supiera lo que sus sobrinos han hecho con la herencia, se volvería a morir.

I've heard this from Mexicans. I don't know if it's universal.

Thank you María, David and Rusty. I'm nearly sure that if you use any of the phrases you suggested, you'd get the point across anywhere Spanish is spoken.

In Spain people sometimes say:" Si Franco levantara la cabeza..." when complaining about how much things have changed in the country.
