Judías - ¿Qué son estas?
Hi all!
Have you heard of the word judías? I think it means beans or chili. Being near Mexico, I'm so used to hearing frijoles. Thanks!

Off the top of my head, I think they're green beans, also known as ejotes. Or of course the word could refer to Jewish women.

elote is corn.
judíias are string beans, cristianas are white beans, moras are black beans. Judías is a term used in Spain. In some other countries habichuelas verdes is used for string beans. |
