Hold an exhibition
Hold an exhibition is Ok? Or is there a more appropriate word?

Hold is an appropriate word. You could also say host.

Lar69 is right about "host" an exhibition. I've also heard "put on" an exhibition, but "host" really sounds better.

I think all the versions above are okay. "Company ABC held/hosted/put on a baby juggling exhibition last night" (just joking about the baby juggling)
