Destino - soulmate

Ok so i understand more than i can say or write how would i say our destinies were meant to cross or we are soulmates? actually both please ;D

Soulmate can be rendered 'amigo/a del alma' o perfecto/a compañero/a espiritual.

and for the destinies, I'd probably say something like:

Fue nuestro destino ser amigos.

Wait a bit for a native speaker's opinion.

our destinies were meant to cross "estabámos destinados a encontrarnos"
we are soulmates "somos almas gemelas"
to be used in Hollywood/Bollywood romance movies with a lot of hearts ;D
Used in a normal conversation is very rare. only for couples.

Sure, but it usually works better if you learn more or less on your own, and then come here with questions, stuff you don't understand etc.
