Gustar in the imperfect tense
For the verb gustar do I conjugate it like any other verb in the imperfect tense? (He doesn't like to stay in clase - a él no le gustaba quedarse en clase).

The verb 'gustar' is a regular verb in the imperfect tense, so it is conjugated just like all other regular verbs. In other words, the '-aba' ending you chose is correct for the person (third person) and number (singular, in the case where an infinitive is used as the subject).
There's nothing wrong with the Spanish sentence you wrote, but it doesn't mean what you wrote in English (check your tense in the English version ). |
