¿Hay abreviatura en español? MAD

And in English callng it an "ATM machine" exposes you to ridicule from pedants. See also "PIN number"

I think Bob perhaps meant if there is an abbreviation used for 'cajero automático' in Spanish?

Funny thing, in English class (Grammar school) I remember it being referred to as a 'cash dispenser' but I don't think either people in Great Britain nor in the US use it that much..?

I've heard "cash dispenser" in England, but I would tend to use "cash point" or "cash machine".

Yes... I remember my (British) friends (whom I was visiting last year) using 'cash point' also.
