Hola, todos:

Hay charla aquí acerca de la oración a continuación y su significado:
No comas el pavo si tuvieras _________
No me da sentido, ni a Perikles, tampoco. Pero somos sólo anglohablantes en búsqueda de los secretos profundos del español en algún mansión magnífico pero oscuro. Necesitamos nuestros amigos hispanohablantes para que nos den un haz de esperanza y de entendimiento.

I mean ( What kind to word ).

No comas el pavo si tuvieras dolor de estamago.

@Cloudgazer: tú y Perikles tienen razón. Los tiempos verbales no concuerdan.

Lo mejor sería: "No comas el pavo, si tienes ____."

Para "tuvieras", sería mejor "no deberías comer el pavo, si tuvieras _____" o "no debieras comer el pavo, si tuvieras _____".

Porque os está tratando de usted:

Ustedes tienen razón.
Vosotros tenéis razón.

En Latinoamérica se utiliza ustedes, en lugar de vosotros. Creo que en la mayoría de las ocasiones.

No, es que ellos utilizan "ustedes" en lugar de "vosotros". Por ejemplo, yo les digo a mis hermanos, a los que evidentemente trato siempre de tú, que hagan algo:

Tú, Fulanito, y tú, Menganito, id a comprar.

En España diría:

Vosotros, id a comprar.

En México u otros países diría:

Ustedes, vayan a comprar.

Ellos tienen: yo, tú, él, nosotros, ustedes y ellos. Y el tú tampoco lo tengo muy claro, porque creo que a veces usan "usted", en lugar de "tú", aunque puede que no en todos los países.

Esto te lo explicará mejor un nativo de la zona
