'breathless talk of late'
There has been much 'breathless talk of late' about all the varied mysteries of human existence that have been or soon wil be solved by neuroscience.
Gracias.

I think the sense of breathless is more this one:
breathless with They waited, breathless with anticipation. 2. written excited: His first novel drew breathless superlatives from critics. So, 'breathless talk of late', seems more like "de lo que se habla últimamente con tono entusiasta/emocionado" or something on that line... (depending on the whole context...) But I'd go more in that direction.

Entusiasmado, creo que podría ser. Emocionado, lo descarto come 'ansia'.

Muchas gracias.
