Don't let

Como se dice

"Don't let him back away from the situation/Don't let him make excuses for why we can't meet"

"We can't afford for me to eat out every week"

"We can't afford for me to eat out every week" Weird

What I would say:

Don't let him back away from the situation:

- No lo dejes rehuir la situación.

- No le permitas rehuir la situación.

A pleasure.

@Julvenzor: Do you use "rehuir de algo"?
I have always only heard "rehuir algo".

This must be a fine note for regional differences.

Suena raro, ¿no?
