There's a legend under one of the lists that reads:
Friends+, Administrators, Moderators So, it appears that any name followed by a '+' is on your friends list in TomÃsimo.

Wrholt is right.
Glen, Pablo, check your profile page, and you'll see your list of friends there. One of you sent a friendship request and the other accepted it --probably long ago as you don't remember).  All the friends in your list will appear with the "+" beside their name.
