¿Voy a ser o Voy a estar??

Voy a ser retrasado 1 hora.
Voy a estar retrasado 1 hora.

Sé que esto es muy básico pero estoy confundido.
Las reglas normales sobre "ser" y "estar" no parece aplica.
Creo que "estar" tiene razón porque "retrasado" es temporal pero no es cierto.

Supongo que te diste cuenta de que «ser retrasado» describe una condición física, que significa «be mentally challenged (retarded)» en inglés.

Estar retrasado y Ser retrasado. To be late/delayed To be retarded
