Question Lozenge

Hola a Todos!
Tanto tiempo sin hablar con todos ustedes....sí que los he extrañado.

Mi pregunta es la siguiente...
Para decir "Lozenge" en español.... he visto Rombo, Losange, pastilla, etc., pero en verdad que rombo/losange habla mas bien de la figura y no de la "throat lozenge" que ni siquiera se parece en figura o diseño a un rombo o losange.

¿Qué palabra seria mejor para usar cuando uno habla de usar un "throat lozenge"?

I think pastilla is used although that's also used for pill.
Perhaps to clarify what you're saying use can say dulce o caramelo con medicamentos añadidos.

Hmm pero por lo general uso ese término para hablar de "cough drop"... esto es muy complicado.......



PS... looking at the definition for lozenge, it is a shape...so rombo and losange would be correct, but not for a throat lozenge.

Yo también hacía mucho que no intervenía mucho en los foros... Un saludo.

“pastilla” es lo que se usa más a menudo en España. Para hablar de “cough lozenge” sería “pastilla para la tos” para la forma (shape) es “rombo”...

En España, cuando yo era un chavalín, usábamos “pastillas Juanola” “que aclaran la tos”... La verdad es que no sé si todavía van por ahí, pero eran como “rombitos pequeñitos”... pero siempre las llamábamos “pastillas” o “unas juanolas”...

Aunque son más pequeñitas...

Espero que te sirva de ayuda... (si es para interpretar yo usaría “pastillas [para la tos]”)

"Pastilla para la tos", "pastilla para la garganta", "tableta masticable para la garganta"... "dulces para la tos" (decíamos antes).

Las 'Juanolas' las compramos a turno, Tanzi y yo, en una farmacia cerca de mi casa, en la Via Appia Nueva, que atraviesa Grottaglie, mi ciudad, y va a terminar a Brindisi, unos 40kms a SE. Las Juanolas vienen en una caja redonda de color rojo, cerrada herméticamente y con un pequeño orifizio al costado por donde salen las pastillitas romboidales en miniatura. En un principio el Tanzi no las quería probrar porque le recordaban la caca de los ratones.
