Dar la gana a alguien

PD. He cambiado el tema porque me he contestado la otra pregunta...

La traducción en mi libro dice,,

Charlie was putty in her capable hands.
gana.

No entiendo la construcción de ella..

LE = "a ella" o "charlie"

= Charly does whatever he wants.
= Charly does whatever she wants.

= Do you think you can do whatever you want?

Those dogs terrify the cat whenever they feel like it.

También, "darle en las ganas a alguien" = darle en el gusto, satisfy them, give them what they want.

Charly or Charlie. Both are correct.
