Mira que suerte la mía de toparme con...

Here is another phrase from Tintin comic book.

CONTEXT: They are about to go on a hike.

PHRASE: Mira que suerte la mia de toparme con un tipo que no hace mas que echarseme encima.

MY TRANSLATION: Look what luck of mine to bump myself into with a type that hasn't thrown themselves on top.

????????

Please note that accents and "ñ" are important in Spanish; they determine how a word is pronounced and its meaning. You can insert all Spanish characters by using the dropdown menu "Accents" here on top of each writing box.

"Echársele encima a alguien", figuratively, may mean to fight with someone; and physically can mean to push or fall on someone, or to bump with someone on purpose.

So your sentence probably is something like: "See how lucky I am to meet a guy who just keeps bumping against me"

When you are creating or editing a post, there is a tool bar above the edit window that contains a number of icons that you can use to change the appearance of text in your message. One of the items in the tool bar is a drop-down list that is labeled "Accents". The items in the list are the special characters that you need in order to write in Spanish correctly. You can click on the label to open the list, and then click on one of the characters in that list in order to insert it into your text at the current location of the edit cursor.

Lucky me to cross paths with someone who only wants to take exception to everything I say.

One thing that helped me Wahooka is configuring my own keyboard to be able to switch between ENG and ESP by hitting ALT + SHIFT. It's a worthwhile exercise getting that set up on Control Panel. Good luck!
