Spotted on a tee shirt:

English is weird. It can be understood through tough, thorough, thought though.

Two of the 'ough' syllables share the same pronunciation.

There are at least ten different pronunciations of 'ough' syllables in English words.

Here are two more words with 'ough' syllables (with three pronunciations).
bough (of a tree) /baʊ/
hiccough (alternate spelling of hiccup) /ˈhɪk ʌp, -əp/
