Giving direction
My friends are going to Spain

¡Bienvenido a los foros!
First off, I've not been to Spain and am totally unfamiliar with the places you mentioned. But, after some research, I believe you're talking about Alacant (Alicante) in the first set of directions. My corrections are based on that assumption. I've chosen to use direct commands (the imperative mood) instead of the present tense. The command remains in the singular form, even though I think you should be addressing more than one person. 1. Cómo ir de Plaza Puerta del Mar (the name of the street where your friend is staying?) al castillo de San Fernando: Primero, 2. (I didn't have a map to help me with the last two, but I believe I've got the correct street name.) Last edited by Rusty; October 28, 2008 at 07:58 PM. |

Have a look at my edited post. (Post #2.)
(It used to say that I was running an errand and would help you when I got back. When I returned, I edited my entry instead of posting another. In the meantime, you posted once more and this post helps you to know that I have responded.) I assume you wanted Spanish directions for your friends. |

Hongar,
Apart from the corrections, I miss that you give some reference points, such as 'Turn around when you see the tall building...' or 'get off the bus when you spot the gothic church' Directions are one of the most difficult things to do in any language, just make sure they'll be effective Excellent try though |
