To see the doctor
I´m having a bit of a problem translating this
Will it be possible to see the doctor on Thursday or Friday (when asking for an appointment with the doctor)? ¿Será posible ... el doctor el jueves o el viernes? I know "ver el doctor" is not possible (or doesn´t sound good) here in Spanish. I probably need to paraphrase. What would be the best way to ask? |

Hacer una cita con el médico.
Concertar una cita con el médico.

I agree with previous suggestions.
I will just add that Mexican daily speech would use "¿Será posible ver al doctor el jueves o (el) viernes?" @Poli: "Concertar una cita" is right, but way too formal; it would only be used under very special circumstances.
