He escuchado usar......

dormiteada = nap

siesta = nap

Correcto.

Dormitar is to take a nap or a siesta.

Siesta is always a light type of sleep. You want to get up back to work. right?

Hmm... "dormitar" is to sleep lightly, to doze... one can sleep very deeply when taking a siesta...

My friend from Perú always says "Soñar no cuesta nada." I'm always afraid when she says that because she dreams BIG, and I seem to get roped into some of these crazy things, myself.

To doze or take a nap are the same, to doze off is to sleep straight!

Are they written correctly?

Creo que te gustaría dormir. Para mí dormitar es to be half sleep.
