Embriagado de sí mismo

We use this structure "embriagado de" + (sí mismo, orgullo, felicidad, etc.) to describe people that show such an intense emotion that it seems they are intoxicated by the excess of it.

Particularly, "embriagado de sí mismo" depicts a person showing an extreme narcissism -pride, self-referencing, believing to be the centre of the universe-.

How can we say that in English?

to be overly impressed with oneself
to be intoxicated with one's own fame

to be full of one's self (or perhaps oneself is more correct grammarwise)

Examples: He's so full of himself, he thinks that when he closes his eyes, nobody sees
The rock star was so intoxicated by his own fame, that he lost all sense of reality.
The pedantic professor was so impressed with himself, but literally nobody knew what he was talking about.

I have heard "to be all wrapped up in oneself," which brings to mind the associated quip Someone who is all wrapped up in himself makes a pretty small package
