(?) I will be sick if I eat food that is bad.

(?) I am happy when the Cleveland Indians win the game.

If that happens the man is going to be in danger

? (If this occurs, the man will be in danger.)

Subjunctive is used with "si" when you're expressing a remote possibility.

If you would only listen, you'd realize I'm not guilty.

Si Juan fuera más amable, tendría más amigos.
If Juan were kinder, he'd have more friends.

Subjunctive is used with "cuando" to express a situation you're expecting to happen.

When you go to the drugstore, buy the baby's diapers.

When I have my bachelor's degree, I'll have a better job.

Quisiera saberlo.

"Olvidar" is to forget. It makes no sense to ask for a telephone number when it's been forgotten.

It's called "pretérito imperfecto" but it doesn't express a past tense when used in a conditional sentence.

I will let someone else with more technical knowledge to answer this, but this kind of conditional must use "pretérito imperfecto".

Gracias de nuevo

Some examples of subjunctive in present tense:

I'll give you what you want, if you give me Naomi's phone number.

The dog will run until it realizes the man only wants to give it water.

I won't forgive him even if he apologizes for what he did.

They brought food so we won't die of hunger.

Basically now, you have used it in your post, look, if you see minutely the sentence where you asked us the question, you used it.

I mean want to give you a hint right now, yes and when, Si y cuando.

Mama quiero ir al cine.

Si, cuando?

Mom, I want to go to the cinema.

Yes, but when.

I hope you can understand me.
