When to use "no" and when "non"?
When do I use "no" and when "non"? I found a German website which was no help at all. I don't expect much as we don't have many members that speak Italian.

- Ti chiami Lorenzo? No, mi chiamo Luigi. (Is your name Lorenzo? No, my name is Luigi.) - Ti chiami Lorenzo? No, non mi chiamo Lorenzo. (Is your name Lorenzo? No, my name is not Lorenzo.) - Vuoi una birra? No, voglio un caffè. (Do you want a beer? No, I want a coffee.) - Vuoi una birra? No, non voglio bere alcool. (Do you want a beer? No, I don't want to drink alcohol.)

Cuándo se usa el NON
NON se usa en frases interrogativas cuando se supone una respuesta positiva: Non ne avevi due, di cellulari? (si la suponencia es tal y la respuesta negativa, entonces se usa el NO: "No, ho un solo celullare.") NON refuerza lo que sigue sí construído con otros adverbios: Non appena gli disse che non c'era nessuno e che non ne sapeva niente, quello iniziò ad urlare.
