Not really, I only know one other expression, which is rude and I can't spell it.

Yeah it seems to be the case that people always learn those first.

It's very funny you should mention it because this again bears great resemblance to another Dutch word :kommer

Kommer = problems, agravation (oldfashioned word).

Zich bekommeren om = to worry about, to care about.

In fact this is a wordjoke which is made with these two words I have seen several times;
Kommer en kwel = a whole lot of misery

Becomes >>> 'Komkommer en kwel' = a play on words.

¡Muchas gracias!

Thank you. I wrote met instead of meat.

Thank you for your correction.

So, when using one of your phrases in a sentence, it could be like this: Me importa un pepino el juego de fútbol. (¡¡A mí también!!) Or would I use "sobre" or some other connector word?

While I was typing this, a friend in Uruguay IM'ed me and at one point during the conversation, she said "no entiendo un pepino".

"No entender un pepino" means not to understand anything.

By the way - I don't believe that anyone has mentioned the English idiom: cool as a cucumber. Is there something similar in Spanish?

Pjt tiene razón: el apio tampoco engorda.

As for "cool as a cucumber", we say "fresco/fresca como (una) lechuga".
... (por cierto, las lechugas tampoco engordan)
