Convencer conj.

Convencer conj.

Mi pregunta es….


Porque "convencer" cambia a "convenzo" para "yo" en el presente indicativo, y no "convenzco"? No es "palabra como 'conocer'"? Pensé que los verbos cuales terminen en "-cer" tengan que cambiar a "-zco" por este caso.

Convencer es un verbo regular que se conjuga como temer (fíjate que cambia de consonante pero conservando el sonido de la raíz), y no se conjuga como agradecer o conocer, que son irregulares (paradigma 8).
