Colección de 'novela' vs 'novelas'
La editorial va a sacar una nueva colección de novela.
La editorial va a sacar una nueva colección de novelas. I think the first one is grammatically incorrect, but I have seen expressions like this one several times. I must assume the 'collection' contains more than one. Any help would be appreciated. |

The first one may refer to the genre and the other to the number of novels to be issued, but yes, "colección de novelas" sounds much better.
