Ahora, hoy, ahorita, ahora mismo - México vs Cuba vs the rest of the 21 Spanish speak
Vivo entre mexicanos y cubanos y
parece que hay un poco de confusión entre las palabras ahora, ahorita y ahora mismo. Por los mexicanos "ahora" es iqual que decir "hoy". Mientras por los cubanos ahora es como decir "now" in English as opposed to today. Today as in all day. Anybody else ha notado esto? Ya me voy ahora. Ya me voy ahorita. Ya me voy ahora mismo. Ya me voy hoy. Ya me voy dentro de poco. I'm leaving right now! Ahora = now - Ahorita = a little bit later Ahora mismo = right this minute(second) (Right now) Ahora = "today" in Mexico ahorita=que en Mexico? In a little while?
