3 Great books for idiomatic usage (Mexico)

If you're looking for some books that will help you use and understand idiomatic and colloquial usage (mainly in Mexico) here are three great places to start:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/029274322X/?tag=219-20

http://www.amazon.com/dp/0976451808/?tag=219-20

http://www.amazon.com/dp/0976451816/?tag=219-20

The Keenan book has a great section where he analyzes 64 common verbs and their meanings in context. Verbs that can have many different usages, like quedar, echar, tener, hacer etc.

The Kim books are more geared towards those sayings in English that you have no idea how they are said in Spanish. Want to know how to say "he or she choked" (as in choking under pressure)? How about "fall through" (as in our plans fell through)? "Speak one's mind". He covers all of these and about 300 more (in both books).

Nah, I am sure you know this, but fingers always have their own mind...

The following happens tome, and I think everybody else who speak another language(s):

I think of something to write in English. I write it in English, but it does not come out exactly as I thought of it, so I have to tweak it.

I guess it happens to you in Spanish.

Sounds familiar?
