jurar (verb) — to swear, vow. Look up jurar in the dictionary

Juró que jamás volvería a robar.
He swore he would never steal again.

Swore is the same that promise.

For example.

I swore to I never will come to hit you again.

I promise you that I never will come to hit you again.

Are those example like?

Sí en inglés "promise y swear" tienes el mismo significado Pienso que se usa "swear" cuando se quiere enfatizar qué está dicho

Swear es una más palabra fuerte que promise

Espero que me entiendes

The dear friend the word swear and promise are not the same.

For example if I can say.

Te juro que no ire a jeepear.

Then I have to say.

I swear you I won't go to jeepear. (This sentence is stronger than other one)

I promise you I won't go to jeepear ( This sentence is less strong)

I know that they are no the same, but I want to understand the winch one I have to use now instead of the other chose.

I have seen that you have gotten better in your Spanish the last few days, I hope you continue so, because it's very important for your knowledge and your private life.
