In Chile futbolito is the same as football, instead of 11 players, there are only 5 or 6 ( I cannot remember well) and the field is about one quarter of the actual size.
When this is played on the street, then it is called pichanga. Which also means desorden. Hernan. |

According to several sources on the Internet:
foosball (U.S.) = table football (U.K.) = futbolín (Spain) = futbol de mesa (Spain) = metegol (Argentina) = taca, or taca-taca (Chile) futbito = soccer (5 on a team instead of 11) = futbolito (Chile) Some people say futbolito is foosball, but most think it's soccer. I don't think fusbito is a word in Spanish. |

I din't know "foosball" was "futbolín". I though was a misspelling of "futbito", as "foosball" was a misspelling of "football".
curious

That's a good one! :-) The table game. Thanks Rusty. I had not heard of taca-taca since I was 11 or 12. Hernan |

You meant taca-taca. What is it for?
