Said as a compliment to an elderly person who is otherwise healthy,

No es la edad sino el kilometraje (?)

No sé si existe una frase hecha en español, pero para darle rima yo lo traduciría así:

No se trata de los años vividos, sino de los kilómetros recorridos.

O

No se trata de los muchos años ya vividos, sino de todos los kilómetros recorridos.

Be careful with the use of the word "ñero". It may have a pejorative meaning, and sometimes people don't take it very well. You can use "mano", which is far more positive, always as a slang word.

I favour "No es la edad sino el kilometraje", which is the usual one here.

I favour even more "No es lo que dice el almanaque sino lo que marca el odómetro", but regrettably the youngest half of the population now comes with very low language quality and they won't understand it (or ever try).

Bueno, pues a mí me gusta... ;-) (Todas inventadas a bote pronto)

"No se trata de lo que diga el almanaque, sino de estar vivo y alerta a cada triquitraque"

"No se trata de lo que diga el almanaque, sino la gracia con que se lleva el miriñaque"

"No es tanto lo que dice el almanaque, sino la fuerza de la locomotora y su miriñaque"...

"No se trata de la edad, sino de las ganas de mocedad"...

"Nada que ver con la edad, es la fuerza de voluntad"...

Bueno, estas son algunas improvisaciones, por si sirven de algo... (la verdad es que no creo que ninguna de estas se usan en España... )
