¿Carlos vino? vs ¿Vino Carlos?

So I'm staring at this sentence trying to figure it out. The first one makes perfect since...
¿Vino Carlos a Bolivia En avión? Did Charles come a Bolivia by plane?

All is good, but there are variants of this sentence and when I try to apply the format to this sentence my mind gets lost...
¿Carlos Vino a Bolivia En avión? Whats the difference in meaning?

The subject can be located in both of the places you illustrate, and it can go after the two prepositional phrases (it can be the last word of the question, in other words). Word order in Spanish is looser than what English imposes.

There is absolutely no difference in meaning. The order makes no difference.

(Only the first word in the question and only proper names should have a capital first letter. Did Charles come to Bolivia by plane?)
