pinched shut

Any help with this one?

The tubing has been pinched shut by the pressure of the bar above it.

I have

How can I improve that translation?

I might say:

Then again, that doesn´t give the image of something being pinched. But in this sense, "pinched" means "closed off", which in my dictionaries is saying cerrar.

And as for: The tubing has been broken by constant flexing.

That´s my 2 centavos. Hope it helps a little.

Felipe:

Sosia:
normal (like Felipe's):
or

The tubing has been broken by constant flexing.
Felipe:
sosia´(it's Felipe's)

Now you have 4 cents
