In recent days I have met several really nice Mexican people who have a beautiful spirit about them. They have inspired me to try to learn their language. I feel this site may be a great place to start.

Befriend the beautiful-spirited people you meet and start asking "¿Cómo se dice ...? (How does one say ...?)" and "¿Qué es esto/eso? (What is this/that?)."

KOH moh seh THEE seh milk? Se dice leche. (One says LEH cheh.)
kehs EHS toh? ehl pah PEHL. (el papel = paper)
kehs EHS oh? lah see EH rrah. (la sierra = mountain range)

Repeat what you hear.
