What's popular in your country

That is different than in the US, when it comes to things like subcultures, music, and fashion?

In Chile, not only the American market is open but also the European. And that goes for music and fashion.

In Colombia:

Fashion = The very latest fashion in the western world. No difference at all. We do have our typical outfits but those are only worn on special occasions for specific purposes, like "ferias" and when groups of people dance to Colombian music.

Music = As I said, we have our typical music which older people seem to prefer. Also, the latest Latin hits, which almost everybody likes and there's of course Rock and all the modern music that young people prefer, even if it's in a foreign language, mostly English.

As for food we do have our own which is delicious and it has survived the avalanche of McDonalds, Burger King, pizzerias and the rest, thank God.
