How can I say: "Mi perro es el compañero más fiel que he encontrado." ?
"My dog is the ¿faitfhulest? parnet I have meet" ? I know it's wrong, but what would be the correct?

Yes.....
-You can say I have been faithful to my wife. I have been loyal to my wife. (but hardly used) I see it as faithful and loyal being two slightly different things. For example, you can be a faithful husband and a loyal employee. You can be a faithful christian and be loyal to your parish. I don't know if what I am saying makes sense to you.
