Partitura

Thanks.

The score is the total music for any composed piece, which would be all instruments in a symphony orchestra. Sheet music can be for any one instrument or more, so a subset of a score, and if the instrument is a piano, that is also piano notes.

So if looking for a piano piece, any of those would do (though I prefer score because it sounds better)

The fact is that when I make a search using the word "score", I find a lot of entries using "sheet music", but a few with the word "score". I'm looking for a few songs.

By the way, is the word "Notation" the German word for "partitura".
