No hay tu tía comes from: no hay athutía (atutía was a remedy for everything), --< there's no remedy
see link, with other interesant "modismos" in "Historias con historia" ( a good historic blog) http://historiasconhistoria.es/2008/...n-historia.php But that was middle age, so the proper now is "no hay tu tía" 1 leguas = 20000 pies (spanish feet) = a 5572,7 metros Se ve a la legua: You can see it from 5,5 km away --> it's very easy to see--> It stands out saludos |
