¡Buenos días!

Hello, I am new to this forum. No hablo mucho español. Mi novio habla español. I really need to work on my vocabulary so I can start speaking with him. Hopefully this helps!

¡Bienvenida a los foros!

The two sentences you wrote are perfect. When speaking those concepts, however, you would probably say something like, "I don't speak a lot of Spanish, but my boyfriend does." In Spanish, this is "No hablo mucho español pero mi novio sí (lo habla)."

I added the opening exclamation mark to your title. You're probably aware that there's an 'Accents' drop-down menu just above where you enter a post, but when creating a thread title we don't have that luxury. What I do is to enter the title in the area where my post will go and then move it to the title area.
