¿Puedo leer Borges?

The Imperfectionists by Tom Rachman. Pero después de eso, leeré Ficcíones. Estoy emocionado. Cuando termino, escribiré lo que yo pienso.

I would start with a simplier book by Borges, like "El informe de Brodie".
Everyone can read Borges -or any author- and in any language. But a very different thing is to understand it. Furthermore, you have choosen an author that it's difficult to understand even for well-cultured (is this ok?) natives. But it's an exciting goal! Good luck

Thank you Rusty! I'm glad to see you again. My English is rustier than ever.... nothing that can't be solved with a rusty nail, and Mr. Rusty at the screen!

¡Hola Ookami!

Hello JPablo! I'm also glad to see you again! I've been quite rude with you in the past... but you know... youth naivete.
That's one of the first poems I've memorize by reading it aloud over and over again. I find it so.. magnificent. Actually, that's a quite appropiate book to start reading Borges: "El Hacedor". It was my first Borges reading. It has short prose fragments, and some poetry.
