A blogger in Tuscon goes crazy about a bilingual sign

A blogger in Tuscon goes crazy about a bilingual sign. Did (s)he even stop to research that "Arroyo Chico" was the name of the bike path, was probably the name of a creek in the vicinity, and was probably given that name when Arizona was part of Mexico?

It really saddens me when people make uninformed racist comments about things, even when they later try to pass it off as a joke. Oh well.

The edited note saying, basically, that "This was a joke, I'm sorry if you have no sense of humor." reads to me as "I'm an idiot, but not willing to admit I'm wrong."

Oh well, some people are willing to remain ignorant and hate-filled. Fortunately, they're the minority even if it doesn't always feel that way.
