¡Claro que no! Las hembras gritan (no surprise there ) y creo que es cuando un macho se pone inoportuno. (siempre dentro el muro, donde no se ve que pasa)

Entonces se dice "el sonido de..." (lagartos, ratones, etc.).

Hmmm... no sé. Quizás se pueda saber por el tipo de sonido: chillido, silbido...

¿Dices el "sonido de" en vez de "la voz de"?

"Voz" en la RAE es el "sonido que el aire expelido de los pulmones produce al salir de la laringe, haciendo que vibren las cuerdas vocales". No especifica pulmones o laringe de humano o de animales, pero al buscar cada sonido, como ladrido, maullido, graznido, etc., todos hablan de la voz que emite cada animal.

Sí, decimos sonido. Bueno, a mi perra le digo que tiene un "vozarrón", pero porque la humanizo.

Bueno, no es un invento que un ladrido es la "voz que emite con fuerza el perro, más o menos parecida a la onomatopeya guau".

He puesto la portada de un libro infantil de una editorial española . Sí, la RAE puede que diga voz, pero nosotros nos referimos al sonido que oímos.

Er - beef is the meat, it doesn't make any noise at all. The animal is Mrs Cow, Mr Bull, and master bull calf or miss heifer calf.
