Hay frases divertidas:

Tus ojos son como dos soles que alumbran mi camino,

Hablando de Quevedo, cuentan que una vez se apostó con unos amigos que era capaz de decirle a la reina que era coja. Se fue para ella con un clavel y una rosa y le dijo:

Entre el clavel y la rosa
su majestad escoja.

También dicen que esas palabras son de Jardiel Poncela, pero como no sé qué obra es, no puedo asegurarlo.

"En aquellos tiempos", cuando yo tenía 14 ó 15 años, las chicas llevábamos apuntadas en las carpetas frases de amor. Aún me acuerdo de alguna (bueno, más de desamor que de amor):

Triste es la vida sin un ser amado,
pero más triste es amar y no estar a su lado.

Triste es el día sin sol, triste la noche sin luna,
pero más triste es amar sin esperanza ninguna.

Y más triste que sin esperanza amar
